This is our capstone project: a Barangay Management System with two user roles—the resident and the barangay secretary. The barangay secretary manages the system, monitoring resident registrations and updating their records to ensure accuracy. The secretary can also add current barangay officials and remove them once their term ends. Additionally, the secretary can post announcements with SMS alerts, which are sent only to the heads of families. The secretary can also publish events, projects, and barangay accomplishments, keeping residents informed about ongoing developments. On the resident's side, they can request documents such as barangay certificates and business permits. Residents can also manage their profile information within the system.
